Well, to help you judge for yourself, I am 5'6" and a size 0 juniors, and child size 14-16 or L-XL fits me.
I think it depends on the PJ. Molly's PJs are really big. A lot of the ones with elastic waists stretch a whole lot. My little cousin in a 3 juniors and she would actually need a Molly Medium pj. I saw the Paisley ones at AGPNY, but I will double check again if I get there tommorrow. The waist was pretty stretchy and the shirt was empire waist so it leaves a lot of room.
I have the set for my daughter and her doll. I actually just gave them to her tonight. I couldn't resist any longer...since I have this huge stash downstairs anyway...it's one less thing.
It does seem pretty stretchy and she has the small. I thought about getting an extra large for myself and seeing if it would fit. After seeing it on them, I'm so jealous!!!

I have the coconut Pjs and Star Pjs in XL and they fit great. (I'm 21 and 5'9"...I guess a 7/9 in juniors, it can be a bit unpredictable, lol)
Has anyone tried the XL for themselves as an adult?
